Welcome to the Strong Parent Collective! I’m a happy husband to my wife Kinsey, a proud father to my daughter Olivia, and a seasoned fitness professional for over thirteen years. Not only have I personally experienced the positive impact that fitness has on all aspects of life, but I’ve witnessed its effect on hundreds, if not thousands, of clients.
It’s a simple fact that having a healthier body greatly improves your quality of life. From mood to energy, from physical capability to pain reduction, exercise is a critical foundation to being your best self. The problem is that once we have kids, the time and energy it takes to prioritize fitness slowly dwindles. It’s common to get overwhelmed in the sea of parenting responsibilities, which is completely normal! However, we can’t make that a consistent excuse for lowering our personal standards permanently.
The reality is that once we have kids, our health status becomes amply more important. Not only do we need to be around as long as possible for our little ones, but we should have the energy and capability to maximize the time we spend with them. We should aim to exemplify our best selves and model behaviors that will eventually allow our kids to be their best selves. Simply stated, we need to put effort into ourselves in order to be the strong parents our children deserve.
That’s where the Strong Parent Collective comes in. The majority of my clients are busy parents that don’t have the energy to pursue fitness solo. On a daily basis, I see the power a little accountability, intelligent programming, and a strong community has on the ability to accomplish goals. I am passionate about making those same tools accessible to as many parents as possible.
If you think you can do it by yourself, good on you! As long as you’re improving, I am excited. If you have thought about exercising only to put it off for years, this Collective is for you.
